Native records move both ways where the platform supports it. Specs and drawings enter through synced source files, then publish back as organized sections, sheets, and revisions.
Configure each project independently. Poll on a schedule, pull changes on demand, limit create and update scopes, and decide exactly when Specset may push results back.
Inbound creates or updates the Specset record from the connected platform.
Outbound returns changes only for the record types and scopes you enable.
Review automation can be limited to the part of the submittal queue you choose.

Submittals, RFIs, documents, specifications, and drawings. Native records move both ways where the platform supports it. Submittals and RFIs create and update into Specset and back to the platform. Documents come in from selected roots and go back as create and update. Specifications and drawings enter through synced source files, then publish back as organized sections, sheets, and revisions. Procore includes custom submittal type mapping. Autodesk Construction Cloud covers submittals, RFIs, files, specifications, and sheets. Microsoft OneDrive is coming soon.
In your system of record. A submitted package can arrive from Procore or Autodesk Build, trigger a Specset review, and return a mapped approver response without rebuilding the workflow in another system. The project team keeps its submittal log. Specset handles the review step and sends the result back.
On final review, Specset returns a mapped approver response (approve, revise, or reject), a review comment with the summary and cited findings, and Review.xlsx attached to the response. On Procore, Specset returns mapped responses, comments, attachments, and selected custom fields. On Autodesk Construction Cloud, Specset responds to the mapped review task and can create or update an ACC Issue with the review summary and XLSX. The submittal review workflow returns the status, summary, and linked review record when the decision is ready.
The design team. Specset joins the approval path as a system approver and returns the mapped response. The design team makes the final disposition. On automated submittal review, approve, revise and resubmit, and reject decisions belong to the engineer of record.
